All in
the detail

Expert flooring installation across South Wales

A professional floor is about more than just laying boards. It’s the preparation, setting out, precision cuts and finishing touches that make a floor look like it belongs in the room.

Undercutting a door frame so the flooring can slide underneath

Undercutting
instead of covering up

Where possible, we carefully undercut door frames, architraves, kitchen end panels and other fixed features, allowing the new flooring to slide neatly underneath.

It takes more time, but creates a cleaner finish without unnecessary trims or beading.

Templating or scribing flooring around an awkward shape

Precision scribing

Not every room has straight walls. We carefully template and scribe around toilets, pipes, fireplaces and other awkward shapes, creating a clean finish where trims aren’t needed.

It’s this attention to detail that sets our work apart.

Herringbone starts
with the setting out

With herringbone flooring, getting the first few rows right is critical. We establish the centre lines, direction and position of the pattern before installation begins.

Taking extra time at this stage helps the pattern flow naturally through the room.

Stairs & specialist installations

Stairs require careful planning, accurate cutting and the right finishing system. We can continue your chosen flooring from your rooms onto your staircase for a seamless finish.

Doorways, transitions & finishing

The areas people notice most are where floors meet something else. We plan doorways, transitions and adjoining rooms as part of the installation, ensuring a clean finish throughout.
